So you just bought a PC or laptop or even netbook with nothing more than preinstalled Windows XP/Vista.

What… they only give me a 30days trial of office-suite applications,are they expecting me to work for 30days only ? even worse they don’t even give anything besides the OEM Windows.

Or maybe you are just like some of my friends with windows as the only legal software they had in their computers.

But hey, suddenly you change your mind and say to yourself. I need to purify my computer and be legal for several reasons such as there are sweepings in my place, traveling won’t be pleasing anymore if you get caught at the airport using pirated software, or even for the sake of your own karma.

Here at the PLC (Pure Legal Computing) , we will discuss about software that can be obtained freely since they are freeware or even opensource but still they are really worthy comparable to the commercial versions and sometimes we might found the free software is even better. Furthermore we aren't just collecting and posting the software here, all software we posted here has been tested and used as real production activities.

How about Linux ?, of course there are tons of free/opensource in Linux platform which already packaged in the distro-installers so that's another case, currently we aren't talking about it.
